Chandra Galappaththi 16/10/2021This October I had the pleasure of photographing the union of Joshua and Joanna at the gardens of Duntroon house. The stunning location, built in 1833, served as the perfect backdrop for this USA couple, as a way of incorporating their ties to the Royal Military College of Australia. This wedding was made even more magical by the stunning spring blooms under which the bride and groom said ‘I do’.
Chandra Galappaththi 30/10/2021I was lucky enough to witness and shoot the coming together of two cultures at the wedding of Colin and Kahurangi. This event was a beautiful celebration of Maori and Australian culture at the Sunken Garden in Queanbeyan park.
After two years in lockdown, it was wonderful to see families brought together and to experience a small piece of New Zealand in Canberra.
Chandra Galappaththi 24/07/2021The wedding of Tandy and Victor in July 2021 was a true celebration of love and joy. I will never forget the bright colours, music, and laughter that filled the reception hall as this couple celebrated their vows and their commitment to each other at the QT Hotel.
I am grateful to have been able to experience this day with Victor and Tendai and all of their family and friends.
Chandra Galappaththi 18/06/2021June 2021 brought us to the wedding of Darryn and Nong. Though the guest list was small, the presence of one extra special little guest at this wedding made the day, and the photos, feel complete. Being able to photograph this little family on such a momentous occasion, and to provide memories that will be passed down for years to come, was an honour that I truly appreciate and will remember forever.
Chandra Galappaththi 10/04/2021We had the opportunity to capture the wedding of Brianna and Craig in April 2021. We enjoyed joining the beautiful bride and her bridal party as they prepared for the day at Quest Motel followed by the preparation of handsome groom and other boys.
The ceremony was greeted by beautiful Roses in Victoria Garden on one side and couples friends and relatives including the tiniest page boys and flower girls to the grandmother of the bride on other side.
We had a wonderful time capturing precious moments of all the loved ones throughout the ceremony, and into the reception at Soldiers Club.

For the final wedding of Spring 2021, I was invited to join Lucky and Archana on their special day. In the presence of their closest friends, Lucky and Archana made their commitment to each other surrounded by love, laughter, and sunshine at Belconnen Park. The bright colours and perfect weather made this event a joy to photograph.

After a few wet days, the sun made an appearance at the beautiful South Coast just in time for this couple. Surrounded by their loved ones, the bride and groom said their vows by the beach, with the ocean as their backdrop.

This joyous event was a true celebration of love and it was a pleasure to see two families coming together in such a wonderful way after the tumultuous year that was 2021.

Making the summer day cooler, soft drizzle droplets greeted their photography session as confetti. Their tiny beautiful son also enjoyed the occasion very peacefully, in the loving hands of other family members.
